It is part of our core beliefs that music can be learned by every one of all ages. JnC Music Center caters to a large number of students with a wide spectrum of musical endeavors and educational goals. We provide a healthy and nurturing educational environment where one could learn music at their own pace, while go-up-the-ladder and achieve goals simultaneously.

Furthermore we are also proud of our decades-long history of advocating music, which has produced a spectacular, if not unprecedented, array of outputs: major competition winners, ABRSM high-scorers and diplomas, scholarship recipients at prestigious music conservatories, international music festival appearances, presidential scholar, songwriter/band-leader with an international reputation, et cetera. Some of our alumni even have established a career as music teachers themselves.

Within the industry, we have distinguished ourselves with experienced and seasoned teaching faculties who are more than just qualified to teach.

While there are many published articles and papers that have addressed this issue comprehensively, there are several aspects that we would like to highlight. Learning music exposes a broader emotional horizon and teaches the craft of creating an artwork. It also sharpens both cognitive and motor intuitions/skills that are remarkably beneficial, even if a student chose to cultivate a completely different profession in the future. No wonder, many of the greatest leaders and innovators in our time—Bill Clinton and Albert Einstein, notably–have articulated how learning music was essential to their success.

“Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anyone”—Anton Ego, the food critic from Pixar’s Academy Award-winning Ratatouille.

Music is inherently inclusive for anyone to learn and enjoy. By providing access to music lessons, you are giving yourself an opportunity for talents and aptitudes to be discovered and cultivated. The curriculum of JnC Music Center is creatively designed to instill the passion for music through both individual lesson and our group activities.

We believe music is too rich and multi-faceted to only be taught and represented through one particular genre. JnC Music Center is very grateful to have teachers with extensive credentials and esteemed reputations in non-classical genre. At the center of our curriculum, we train our students to have a solid musicianship skills (playing by ear, write down and voice harmonic progressions on the instrument, improvising and collaborative skills).

Though music lessons have frequently been associated with over-charging teachers/music schools nowadays, we guarantee you that our rate is amongst the most competitive in the market. We highly encourage you to call us for details.

JnC Music Center welcomes make-up lessons and parents/students can reschedule lessons with enough flexibilities. We understand that things could come last minute and we are happy to give you make-up lesson when our schedule allows.

Aside from sending our students for regular examinations (ABRSM, LCM, ANZCA, etc) and competitions, it has been a part of our tradition to hold an annual student recital as well as internal competition. Students are also grouped into classes to experience a comfortable, supportive and fun learning environment that benefits to their musical productivity.
