“Maurice, the Classicist?”

In Vivo Music Medan’s 6th National Webinar, Dr. Klaus Nugraha presented his stylistic examination of Maurice Ravel’s works, with a case study of Le Tombeau de Couperin.

Although his works have been widely described as impressionistic, Dr. Klaus Nugraha’s stylistic and interpretative analysis of this work showed us the legacy of Haydn, Mozart and even Bach. The presentation was followed by a live performance of this masterpiece.
